The intention behind the McHenry Distillery rebrand was to enhance shelf presence and improve consistency across the brand, which included their gin bottle labels and website.
A clean aesthetic and clear messaging was the focus for the design with a ‘back to basics’ approach that included retro typography and a simple colour change to differentiate flavours, with jagged edging on the label to add a traditional feel, as well as introducing the inclusion of the location of the distillery on the labels to increase local and community appeal.
